Macware company released a new version of the product DiskTools Pro 3.6.0, a popular set of disk utilities for the platformMac OS. This useful tool can be used to defragment the data backup and recovery bad sectors. Unlike a number of similarapplications, the product is able to perform these manipulations with the active partition, without needing to boot from an external volume or disk.

One of the key features provided in version DiskTools Pro 3.6.0, an improved mechanism defragmentation. According to the manufacturer, the file scanning is now done 5 times faster, and the consumption of CPU resources when scanning and defragmentation decreased compared to previous versions. Appendix closely follows the defragmentation process and notifies the user of problems, giving an error code. To decipher the code of any errors Mac OS clients can consult with a special table to display output in a separate floating window.

Product DiskTools Pro 3.6.0 has learned to scan files and recover bad sectors on the disk that were not pre-installed. The user can also interrupt the defragmentation, without waiting for completion of processing the file.

Deserve special mention support for multiprocessor systems, components Preference File Inspector and a new report on defragmentation, which can be easily exported to a program TextEdit or copied to the clipboard.
